Ximending is a popular tourist destination as it houses Taiwan local fashion brands and if you are looking for something close to Japanese Shinjuku, this is the place.

Ah Zhong Mee Sua

One of the attraction to Ximending is Ah Zhong's Mee Sua. Located in the heart of Ximending, Ah Zhong's Mee Sua is packed with long queue at anytime of the day. One will have to finish the food standing up around the stall. If you are unsure of the place, just grab a passerby and ask. they will point you to the right direction.

The soup base was cooked with various meats and ingredients to give it a wonderful aftertaste.

The Mee Sua was cooked to perfection. It will pratically melts into your mouth.

Taipei!

Taipei! Capital city of Taiwan.

The team took the afternoon HSR (High Speed Rail) back to Taipei. The journey took the Team two hours to ride non stop from Zuoying Station to Taipei.


Everyone checked into Ta Shun Hotel (TS Hotel).

TS Hotel is located on No 170-172, Hanzhong St. It is just next to Changsha street. The nearest MRT is Ximending MRT Station and one should exit from Exit 1 to get to TS Hotel.

TS Hotel is a family oriented hotel which has built it's reputation among many budget Singaporean Travellers. The staff at the counter are friendly and are always ready to lend a helpful hand. Tennas gave them a Five Stars out of Five Stars rating in terms of service.

The rooms are rather spacious for standard rooms. Single rooms are rather tight fitted. Tennas however gave them a 3.5 stars rating out of five due to the facilities within the room.

There are however internet connection in the room. You just need to bring your own RJ 45 Cable to hook up. Alternatively the hotel management have set up a computer in the lobby for the guests to surf the internet.
