Last week, ONzLAH is suppose to take a trip to Johore for Food Galore. However due to unforseen circumstance, we had to forgo the trip for greater good. This week, ONzLAH will be travelling around Singapore for more good food. So do stay tune :)

We are back on Track!
It has been a few days since we last updated. Haha. We are not gone. Just aittle busy clearing back logs and ermmmm... fooling around.

Additional info on Salmonella
What exactly is Salmonellosis?
Salmonellosis is an infection with bacteria called Salmonella. Most persons infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection..(my mood did a nose-dived into the deep blue ocean after I get the symptoms). The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most persons recover without treatment. (Yes, mine lasted for 9days)
However, in some persons, the diarrhea may be so severe that the patient needs to be hospitalized. (The doctors panicked & tried to persuade me to go hospital for a drip repeatedly)
In these patients, the Salmonella infection may spread from the intestines to the blood stream, and then to other body sites and can cause death unless the person is treated promptly with antibiotics. (Yeah? I was given 3 types of antibiotics to complete & it gave me bad cramps?) The elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.
How can Salmonella infections be diagnosed?
Many different kinds of illnesses can cause diarrhea, fever, or abdominal cramps. Determining that Salmonella is the cause of the illness depends on laboratory tests that identify Salmonella in the stool of an infected person. Once Salmonella has been identified, further testing can determine its specific type.
How can Salmonella infections be treated?
Salmonella infections usually resolve in 5-7 days and often do not require treatment other than oral fluids. Persons with severe diarrhea may require rehydration with intravenous fluids. Antibiotics, such as ampicillin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, or ciprofloxacin, are not usually necessary unless the infection spreads from the intestines. Some Salmonella bacteria have become resistant to antibiotics, largely as a result of the use of antibiotics to promote the growth of food animals.

Wonderland Online
Updates on this site as been slow for the past four days. One of the many reason is due to the fact that Shirlyn is busy with tons of work. Raymond is helping her.
Tennas and Rachel are busy with this game "Wonderland Online" introduced by a reader. What's fun about this game?
It's Maple Story,Habbo Hotel and perhaps Final Fantasy in one. Oh well. The story starts with your character taking a leisure cruise. The cruise ran into some trouble and the captain ended up abondoning the ship.
Your character ended up of course on an Island with Robinson Crusoe and after some briefing... you are on your quest. What happens after that... Well... We are still on it.
So here you have a fariy tale fantasy story.

Here Comes Cordelia Pt 2!

Since the posting of the article "Here Comes Cordelia" yesterday. ONzLAH recieved tons of emails from our readers. Many have expressed interests in knowing more about Cordelia wile some were protesting on the photos we posted.
Perhaps I should put some clarification to some of the questions.
QNs: Why are you posting CORDELIA who is now a FHM Model? Do you have the RIGHTs to even post the girl's photos?
ANs: Every media has the right to post pictures of any girls as long as there are no infringement of Privacy, Decency or Intellectual Proerty. In this case, ONzLAH have the clearance and permission in writing from the Client to post the mentioned photographs.
The Model Release is also signed at the end of that assignment to allow the Client full rights to the photographs.
So far no Companies, Clients or any one has called to object the posting.
The only one whom I can imagine is the model herself strangling me and repeating "UNGLAM! UNGLAM! UNGLAM!"

Ans: As these pictures do not belong to FHM and As the pictures were taken before Cordelia became a FHM Girl, there is no reason or logic to seek permission from FHM when we decided to post these pictures.

Yes! We are really excited. We are counting down to our overseas trips and assignments!
4 Days to our FOOD GALORE in our neighbouring country Malaysia and 46 Days to the Kick off our assignments in Taiwan. Oh Gush. Oh Gush!
Tennas has actually planned the Taiwan Trip sometime back. Really Kiasu. Since the start of June, our dear Tennas actually got the itinearly planned out with all the hotels and of course, the air tickets. Really Really Kiasu Tennas.
Some of us do have a feeling that he might even have his luggage packed and ready to go since we started this whole travelling thing since June 2008.
Rachel and Shirlyn has been busy working on their shooping list while I believe Raymond is working on how much we should draw from our "National Reserve" for this trip.
The rest of the team as we last heard is still carrying out their duties as usual.
All the better for the rest of us as the rest of the crew will just need to take the back seat and enjoy the trip.

Sorry. Your size is too big!
Size. Before anyone start thinking wild. This article is certainly not about Sizes of people, clothes or even certain places of a human body.
For the past week, ONzLAH produced several video clips on our assignments. Tennas has the intention to get them posted. No point leaving interesting videos with no audiences.
As smooth as it goes, Tennas managed to encode them into video mode. What he did not realise is that the server he is storing the clips on does not allow any uploads that is more than 100mb in size.
There goes Tennas. Back to his drawing board.

Training has begun!
As mentioned in one of our earlier posts, ONzLAH announced that one part of our restructuring involves talent searching as well as train up new photograpgers to take on our projects to come. (Yes, Simon is going to be an Octopus soon if we don't find him some help.)
On 11th October 2008, Saturday. ONzLAH conducted a photography training session for our Female Assistant Photographers.
Thanks to Miss Wendy Huang and who agreed to be our shooting subject and Mr Ramius Lim for giving our two lovely shooters his pointers and opinions at such short notice.
The training was conducted in Hort Park, one of the newly announced parks by National Parks Board Singapore.

Hot Hot Hort Park.
Hot! Was the word to use for the weather on 11th October 2008, Saturday.
Hort! Was the place we were at for our Assignment.
No, there is no spelling mistake. The crew were at HORT PARK to do an assignment.
Hort Park, NPark's new attraction is also known as the Garderning Hub. It is a 23-hectare regional park in South-Western Singapore and it is also a park connector which links Telok Blangah Hill Park to Kent Ridge Park.
As it was our first time at the place, we were amazed how beautiful the place is. The sunset was simply fantastic. After clearing our assignment, the crew decided to walk a 2.3 KM treetop path from Alexandra Road to Telok Blanga Hill Park.
If you are someone who loves nature. Enjoy the sound of the squeeking bats and perhaps withness a Squirrel rushing home to watch its Saturday Stay Home Movie.
If you are one who loves Photography. Take the hike from Hort Park to Telok Blanga Hill Park.
At the last phase of the hike, you should be able to see a wonderful view of Singapore's sky line.

Revamp. Revamping. New Clothes!
No. We are not doing shopping at Gucci or LV or at Bebe.
We are simply changing our background templates as well as our lay out as suggested by our crew and some viewers. Something to give us a fresher look. So that we don't get the "Dogey" name.
It is not easy for us who don't really deal alot with programming but we are working on it. Tennas is busy reading the code while our Technical chap is whipping up wonders editing pictures for the template.
The duo may be slow but they are certainly making some progress. With some help of course.
Readers might experience image distortion for maybe a few days due to the revamping. We apologise for any inconvinence caused.

House Maintainance
New Directions. New Crew. New Assignments.
These are the three major things that is happening in ONzLAH right now. ONzLAH is under going a series of changes to meet the needs of our clients.
New Directions.
Where are we heading? Our main camp will still be based in Singapore. We have however started taking up challenges from abroad as well. Business directions will expand to accomodate more opportunities.
Helping businesses will no longer be our sole concern. We will also be helping our business partners by refering businesses as well as invite business partners to joint assignments assigned to ONzLAH.
ONzLAH have also moved away from the traditional Website publication to a Blog based one so that we can update our progress from any part of the world.
New Crew
Since last year, we are glad to have Mdm Averal Simons to provide us valuable advises on our assignments and to provide us support in some of our assignments. I am glad that she has agreed to continue providing ONzLAH with assignment advises as well as backend logistical support.
Shirlyn and Raymond joined us on our front line. As mentioned before, Shirlyn will be handling sales with Rachel and Raymond will be handling all documentation issues. We are also training new creative people to handle the Photography, VideoGraphy and Presentation issues.
Models. Yes, how can we forget these wonderful girls who have worked with us before. I am glad to inform that many of these girls have in their own way evolved into beautiful butterflies. Many have found themselves a wonderful career in the entertainment industry. We will continue to invite these wonderful ladies to take up assignments upon the request of our clients.
ONzLAH will also start to identify New Faces for our future assignments.

Mayday! Mayday! The Market is Crashing!
Why did we post the Picture of our ONzLAH Lucky Meow here today? Here is wishing that the market recover soon. If it doesn't, that means our sponsors will soon cut our budgets too.
The Market as we know have kind of started it's plunder into a bottomless pit. Many banks reported their losses and many have turned from millionairs to nothingness.

Crimes of our neighbour.
News reports had been fast and furious when it comes to reporting about crimes in our neighbouring country. Such negative news have perhaps been blown out of proportion.
I took the risk travelling into Johor Bahru on Sunday. I seldom wander across the causeway alone mainly due to the fact that it is a long ride up north. Laziness and dread of the well known CAUSEWAY JAMs are the usual deterance for me to take such trips.
This time may be slightly different. I was rather determined to make it across and hopefully make it back in one piece. (Which I did.)
Started the journey at 10 a.m. I managed to clear the dreadful customs checks within 30 minutes. THAT WAS FAST!
I started to wander around the place. Judging from the way I was moving around, Many can see that I don't really know the place well or even know the place at all. Other than the beggers along the street, the place is pretty much ok.
I decided to take a cab up to this place call Holiday Plaza. The place famous for its pirated games and DVDs has been around since my secondary school days. It is still packed with Singaporeans and Locals. It took me a while to finish touring the complex. So far so safe. No one have pointed a knife at me yet. Perhaps it's because I was only dressed in a pair of Bermudas and a Nike T-Shirt.
Next I decided to take a cab to Pelangi. I was told that it has became a ghost town. So it is. Perhaps it's due to the new shopping malls nearer to the causeway. This place is slowly forgotten. I couldn't find what I wanted there and so again I took the cab back to the causeway. Still no one took any interest in me.
I decided that I should take a stroll back to Singapore instead. I made it back alive and alone. I have not been robbed or killed at Knifepoint. No one was really interested in robbing. However what could have killed me is perhaps the DUSTY air from the traffic when I made my way back along the causeway. Maybe it's because I did not flash a posh looking sports car or flint any Gold, Platinum or Titanium credit cards or big wads of cash. All I had on me was 20 Malaysia Ringgit.
I would love to go back there again.

Good food knows no boundries
Good food knows no boundaries. This article may contains what seems delicious food initially but eventually be something like for your information only. I am not saying that the food is not nice. In fact, It is way too nice that WE AT ONz TEAM FORGOT TO OBTAIN THE ADDRESS TO THE PLACE! *Tennas slaps his forehead and shakes his head in dismay.*
Nonetheless for our readers who frequent Johor Bahru and knows the address to this place, PLEASE TELL US THE ADDRESS! Please!!! I promise to send you a wonderful token for it.
This shop which we are featuring sells ROAST DUCKS. It is located in Johore Bahru, Malaysia. Other than the delicious yummies provided by this restaurant, all the crew remember is that it is very near the causeway (If that helps).
The shop also sells their Roast Ducks to famous restaurants in Singapore. One of them would be Dian Xiao Er. WOW!
The food is very affordable. The bill for that day was Malaysia Ringgit 82 for a meal set for 4 persons. You can do the conversion yourself.
We give the food in this restaurant 8 thumbs up out of our Ten thumbs eating crew.

Singapore Food Galore Part 3 (The best food is usually the most sinful)
The best food is usually the most sinful
Once seated in Hill Street Hawker Center and made a name for themself there. Hill Street Fried Kway Teow is now located at Blk 16 Bedok South Road. Bedok South Hawker Center.
Despite the move, the crowd is still flocking to the new location. Now located just opposite Temasek Junior College. One may need patience to get his hands on the tasty Fried Kway Teow.
About the Kway Teow, It's Oily, It's Hot and It's Good.
The owner with years of experience, threw in lots of fresh ingredients into his reciepe. The clams are fresh and juicy and not over cooked. The noodles are friend but not burnt.
It is indeed a sinful dish. Nonetheless, it is still worth it to sin for such yummilicious Kway Teow.
